On April 1st, Hot Wheels sent a message to their Facebook fans saying that they were going to show them a sneak peek of one of their 2011 New Models. The image that was posted was of Wonder Woman’s Invisible Jet - a branded cardback with an empty blister.

The response to the joke was so positive that the fans asked for Hot Wheels to actually make it for real. So, to celebrate DC Comics’ 75th Anniversary, Hot Wheels produced a limited edition as a San Diego Comic Con 2010 Exclusive!

For the limited edition release, Hot Wheels added a molded plastic insert in the shape of a jet that fits behind the blister card to simulate an "invisible" vehicle inside.
